CAROL STREAM, IL — The Oasis Audio Brevity line will launch in April 2007 with three titles: You are Captivating by Stasi Eldredge, You Have What It Takes by John Eldredge, and Organizing for Life by Sandra Felton. Brevity is a new category of value-priced audiobooks.
The purpose of the line will be to offer consumers a practical, low-cost audio alternative. One and two CD packages for $9.99 and $12.99 will expose new users to audio and improve overall sales.
Three additional titles by Deborah Smith Pegues: 30 Days to Taming Your Finances, 30 Days to Taming Your Tongue, and 30 Days to Taming Your Stress will be released in May; and three more will be released in June: Understanding Islam by Dr. Nabeel Jabbour, Identity Theft and Cashing It In by Ethan Pope.
"We want to give consumers a lower-cost entry point into audiobooks and also make it easy to buy them for friends as gifts. Hopefully, as more people see the value of using audio to encourage, educate, and inspire, the product category will acquire new fans," stated Associate Publisher, Dan Balow.
