Ed Elliott, Publisher
Ed Elliott is deeply involved in the selection of Oasis Audio titles as well as in marketing, sales and new business development.
In the early ‘90’s he conceptualized Oasis, which has since become the premier publisher of Christian audiobooks as well as
a publisher of business, language learning and children’s titles.
In 1981 Edward Elliott purchased Domain Communications, Oasis’ parent, from its founders, Doug and Faith Mains. Before
acquiring Domain, Elliott worked at two publishing companies, David C. Cook and Tyndale House. At Tyndale he was a pioneer
in the marketing of inspirational books and Bibles through mass retailers. While there he also gained extensive experience
in international sales.
Elliott serves on several boards including Oak Foundation/Oasis International and DreamsInDeed.
As an avocation he is involved in the publication and distribution of Bibles and other literature in Africa.
Edward and his wife, Virginia, have a married son and three grand-children.

Dan Balow, Associate Publisher
Dan Balow manages the day-to-day sales and marketing operations and works with a team to develop
product and manage the company.
He came to Oasis Audio in Fall 2006 after 14 years with Tyndale House Publishers, one of the largest
Christian book and Bible publishers in the world. At Tyndale Dan held the positions in marketing, sales
and international rights and licensing
Before Tyndale, Dan worked with The Domain Group, a marketing firm working with Christian ministries and
leaders. From 1984-1992, he held a number of positions there, from Senior Account Executive to Director
of Media Strategy and Research.
Dan is member of the board for both the Christy Awards and the Oak Foundation. He is also chairman of the
board for the Global Publishers Alliance, an international effort with the purpose of enabling publishers
of Christian books and Bibles to become financially self-sufficient.
Dan is a 1978 graduate of Wheaton College (IL) with a degree in Communications. He and his wife Carol make
their home in Wheaton, Illinois. They have four children, the youngest still in high school.
